In the past, I often asked myself why my husband could remember everything just by listening.
But for me, when I learn something new, I need to see it with my eyes.
I have to write things down, use images or videos, and take notes with many colorful sticky notes.
Now I understand why, because I learned about different learning styles,
which really made a huge difference in how I see myself.
My husband is an auditory learner, which means he learns best by processing information through listening.
He can easily absorb new information and pick up new ideas just by hearing someone talk.
He doesn't need to write things down. He relies heavily on his ears to remember and grasp concepts.
But I am a visual learner, so I learn best by processing information through pictures, charts, and written instructions.
I prefer things like mind maps, written notes, diagrams, and colorful graphics.
These tools help me get a better handle on things. I also like to try something out to see if it works for me.
Thanks to learning about learning styles, I started to figure out how I learn best.
Now I know I don't have to compete with others.
I focus on what aligns with my strengths, and that helps me take my skills to the next level.
Everyone has a different learning style.
Some people are reading and writing learners, and others are kinesthetic learners who thrive on hands-on experience.
The key is to understand what works for you. That will give you valuable insights and help you succeed.
